Mr. Smith joins growth[period] after a distinguished career of nearly three decades within the national security and defense industries. His twenty-six year tenure at General Dynamics Information Technology was marked with a number of successes that would propel him through the senior ranks of management and culminate in his induction as Vice President. During this time, Mr. Smith gained expertise in engineering, program management, sales, and marketing in the telecom and communication services markets, and he managed intelligence community, Department of Defense, and commercial multi-million dollar programs around the world. He was the Capture Manager for several notable awards, including the NGA New Campus East, the Defense Information Infrastructure, and the DCGS. Before joining General Dynamics, Mr. Smith was a lead telecommunications engineer for TRW. He studied electrical engineering at the Pennsylvania State University, and received his graduate degree in the subject from the University of Southern California.
