January 2011: NSAWW recently announced the addition of Secure Mission Solutions as one of its newest clients. Secure Mission Solutions, headquartered in Reston, Virginia, is an integrated security provider that offers end-to-end solutions for seamless physical and cyber protection at unprecedented levels. Their Command and Control, Intelligence Program Support, Cyber Security and Information Assurance, Critical Infrastructure Protection, and Communications and Network Security services are widely used by customers across the federal government and commercial market.

Secure Mission Solutions joins over two dozen other clients—including four Fortune 500 firms—in the national security, IT/cyber, global health and civil arenas currently benefiting from NSAWW's business development expertise.

Additionally, NSAWW welcomes two new members to its Board of Advisors, Mr. William Gaches and Mr. Chet Lunner.

NSAWW CEO Courtney Banks Wins "Heroines in Technology" Award

November 2010: On November 12th, AFCEA NOVA and March of Dimes partnered to present Heroines in Technology, a testimonial gala to recognize and honor women in the field of technology for their dedication to community service.  In addition to naming this year's award winners, the 10th Annual Heroines in Technology gala recognized a "Decade of Heroines" and reflected back on 53 former Heroines and where they are today. 

Courtney Banks, CEO of NSAWW, was nominated and chosen out of thousands of women to be one of 16 finalists who were recognized for their outstanding commitment to serving our community.  NSAWW is proud to announce that on Friday evening, Banks was selected as one of the two "Corporate Heroines" winners, for her dedication to several causes including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Hope for the Warriors.

The Northern Virginia chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA NOVA) and the March of Dimes announced the finalists for the tenth annual Heroines in Technology® Awards. The awards recognize women and women-run businesses for their exemplary commitment to community service. The winners will be announced at a black-tie gala on November 12, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency Reston in Reston, Va.

Nominees were submitted from all segments of the technology community in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia including government, not-for-profit and commercial organizations.

May 2010: NSAWW CEO Courtney Banks was again invited to join Jeff Santos on his morning talk radio show, this time to focus on the recent Times Square attempted car bombing and the FBI's continuing investigations. Ms. Banks also discusses the changing shape of terrorism and the way in which we combat it post-9/11, including the continual evolution of the Department of Homeland Security as they address these risks and work to effectively manage resources for security in today's world.

Media veteran and former Boston progressive talk radio host, Jeff Santos is the morning host on AM 1510 Revolution Boston. The Jeff Santos Show presents a mix of serious issues and comic relief. Santos, a former Capitol Hill reporter, uses his journalistic skills and contacts to give listeners a view of politics that they have not heard on the Boston airwaves. Santos intertwines serious interviews and commentary with humor from contributors from the worlds of politics, the press, and entertainment. The show focuses on local, state, and national issues that have an impact on the lives of Boston radio listeners. Santos has worked for the Regional News Network as a producer/reporter covering politics in New York and Washington D.C., where he served as Bureau Chief. NSAWW is working with Hope for the Warriors, a non-profit organization benefitting wounded warriors and their families, to plan and execute their first ever black tie event and silent auction in the National Capital Region.

NSAWW Adds Six New National and International Clients; Company also Significantly Expands its Board of Advisors

January 2010: NSAWW today announced the addition of six new clients from across the globe, as well as four new members to its Board of Advisors. 

The new clients include a leading provider of voice biometrics solutions for the public security sector based in Madrid, Spain; a company specializing in network security based in Austin, Texas; a physical security solutions provider based in British Columbia, Canada; and three Finnish companies providing high-tech chemical detection services, blast protection and special ventilation technology, and video software surveillance.
