Corporate social responsibility is part of the fabric of growth[period]'s business and culture. The Got Heart Give Hope Gala is an annual event honoring our nation's service members and their families and their striking stories of recovery and success.

September 2017: growth[period] is pleased to support Friends of the Connoles. Friends of the Connoles is an organization with the goal of helping individuals with accumulating medical bills as the result of a series of health issues. 

growth[period] Supports George Mason University’s Annual Business Celebration

August 2017: growth[period] is pleased to support George Mason University's Annual Business Celebration, an event put on by the George Mason University School of Business to celebrate the accomplishments of the School of Business and its alumni. The celebration includes a networking reception and award presentations for the Distinguished Alumna of the Year Award, the Alumni Service Award, the 20 Prominent Patriot Class Award, and the Emerging Business Leader Awards.

July 2017: growth[period] is proud to have supported the Trustees Council for Penn Women for the University of Pennsylvania. The Trustees Council for Penn Women aims to support, foster, and promote the advancement of women and women's issues with the University of Pennsylvania, which enriches the University of Pennslyvania community as a whole.

April 2017: growth[period] is pleased to support the Newseum which is an interactive museum that promotes freedom of expression and the five freedoms in the first amendment to the United States Constitution while tracing the evolution of print and electronic communication from earliest days of the United Statesto the technologies of the present and the future.

growth[period] Supports the LLS Man & Woman of the Year

April 2017: growth[period] is proud to announce our support for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Man and Woman of the Year (MWOY) campaign, a spirited annual fundraising campaign in communities across the US in which participants create teams to compete for the title of Man or Woman of the Year.  The titles are then awarded to the man and woman in each community who raises the most funds during the ten-week competition period, with the top local winners becoming eligible for a national title.  Funds raised through this friendly competition are invested in research to advance breakthrough therapies to treat blood cancer, to support patients in the local communities, and to fund blood cancer education and support.

March 2017: growth[period] is proud to support Shelter House, a Fairfax County-based non-profit that provides crisis intervention, safe housing, and supportive services to promote self-sufficiency for homeless families and victims of domestic violence.  Shelter House was founded in 1981 and in 2010 became the first non-profit to operate Artemis House, Fairfax County's only 24-hour domestic violence shelter.

February 2017: growth[period] supports the Breast Cancer Fund, a health-focused non-profit that works to connect the dots between breast cancer and exposures to chemicals and radiation in our everyday environments.  The Fund’s vision is to shape a world where most breast cancer can be prevented and safe detection and treatment options are standard and available to all.

growth[period] Supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk

September 2016: growth[period] is pleased to once again support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS's) Light The Night Walk, an annual fundraising campaign for blood cancer cures research.  Participants raise an average of $250 each, which goes towards funding reasearch on therapies and treatments, providing patients with free educational materials and support programs, advancing advocacy to ensure patient access to treatments, and providing one-on-one patient assistance through the LLS Information Resource Center.  This walk is one of LLS's largest fundraising events.
