July 2013: Mr. Riccini joins NSAWW as a recognized technology leader and accomplished IT executive with extensive experience and numerous capabilities. These include consulting, leadership, management and technical expertise in large scale implementations, including data center operations, large call center operations, decennial census processing operations, national telecommunications operations, local area network operations, and management and planning of business applications. Mr. Riccini's recent consulting experience includes Census Bureau Field Organization technology assessment, analysis of Housing and Urban Development IT infrastructure assessment and contract replacement, and time as an advisor to GSA on Network Services 2020 portfolio development strategy.
Mr. Riccini's executive government experience includes positions as Associate CIO for IRS Enterprise Networks, Associate CIO for Telecommunications Management and CIO Departmental Offices at Treasury. Accomplishments include transformation of the entire departmental network infrastructure as well as management the Department of the Treasury Telecommunications Center of Excellence. He was also responsible for technology upgrade of the IRS Call Center operations, one of the largest in the world, and local network operations. The technology upgrade and transition involved over 800 sites and 500 applications and multiple Treasury bureaus.
While at the Census Bureau, Mr. Riccini occupied two director level positions for both the Telecommunications Office and the Computer Services Division. He also served as the senior management official responsible for the 1990 Decennial Census Processing Office operations.
Mr. Riccini's many accolades include Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leader and Innovator for 2005, AFCOM 2003 Data Center Manager of the Year Award and Best Practices Award by Technology Managers Forum for Computer Center Enterprise Management 2001.
Mr. Riccini holds a BS in Economics and Statistics from Pennsylvania State University and a MBA from the University of Maryland.
