September 2013: Ms. Handford joins NSAWW after a distinguished career in business strategy, analysis and strategic planning. She is widely acknowledged as an expert in the fields of market campaign and capture development, cybersecurity, intelligence and C4ISR programs.
Ms. Handford spent a decade at Northrop Grumman where she served in various management roles including Sector Director for Cyber Initiatives, Corporate Director of Business Development Strategy and Division Director, Strategic Development, Intelligence Systems. She led the daily operations of the Cyber Initiatives group, coordinating the exchange of knowledge between various sectors and developing corporate strategy in both the domestic and international markets. Ms. Handford was also successful in providing comprehensive strategic support and assistance to nine mission area strategy teams, including Cyber, GeoINT, Special Access, Agile SIGINT, Airborne ISR, Integrated Intelligence, Irregular Warfare, Ground Systems and Space Superiority. She worked directly with strategy leads to develop market and business strategies and executive presentations that facilitated each team's ability to achieve internal goals. At Northrop Grumman she was honored with a nomination for the company's Chairman Award for Excellence.
